Thanks to the Transport Workers Union Veterans Committee and American Legion Post 344, we are joining forces on March 23rd for a day of fun, food and together, fighting to end veteran and first responder suicides.
The day starts with American Legions 5K Run/Walk with proceeds going to our mission.
At 11:00am, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is coordinating a motorcycle run which will begin at 10:15am at Kelly Park. At 11am they will ride to the Brevard Veteran Museum and park their bikes for everyone to see and admire.
Vendors will be set up immediately outside the Museum and both the museum and the event are open to the public.
At 12pm, TWU will begin to serve up some delicious BBQ and live entertainment will also be on site near the beautiful river.
Lastly, the American Legion Auxiliaries will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for the children adjacent to the museum near the park, so bring your little’s and your camera for some great fun!
And Remember, Alone we can do so little, Together we can do so much to help our nations heroes heal from their bad memories. Please join our team and help us, help them.
